Over 25 Years of Caring for Families

I’m Helen Broadhead. Originally from Sheffield, I’ve spent over 25 years caring for and educating children. After completing my NNEB diploma, I began my career as a nanny and later supported children with special educational needs in schools, as well as working in private homes. Those years taught me a simple truth: calm, contented babies often start with rested, confident parents.

That understanding led me to specialise in both night nannying and sleep training — the work that has become my vocation. As a night nanny, I provide professional overnight care, so parents can truly rest, managing feeds, settling and gentle rhythm‑building through the night. As a sleep consultant, I create kind, practical routines tailored to your baby’s temperament and your family’s life, guiding you step by step until sleep feels sustainable.

I’ve worked with countless families to establish healthy sleep patterns and, just as importantly, to build parents’ confidence. My approach is relaxed, non‑judgmental and grounded in real‑life experience, supported by MNT and Southampton Sleep Clinic training. I’m there with hands‑on help at the beginning, and I stay alongside you with straightforward tools and reassuring follow‑up. As a mum of two, I understand how emotional and tiring early parenthood can be. I know how precious our children are, and I’m committed to helping families give one of the best gifts there is: the ability to sleep.

I’m based in Sussex and offer home visits across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.

“I’ve seen every kind of night — and there’s always a way to find calm again.”
